The AMETEK Type T & R Pneumatic Deadweight Testers are hydraulic primary standards used to calibrate pressure and differential pressure gauges, transmitters, transducers, recorders and controllers, and that can provide a reference pressure in process control applications. These testers feature a hand operated hydraulic pump with a manual dual volume control valve that delivers high volume to rapidly build pressure, or low volume for ease of pumping and a gradual approach to the point of calibration. These testers may be supplied with either single or dual columns. Special kits are available for converting a single column to a dual column.
Type T testers are for use with distilled H2O or fluids compatible with 300 Series stainless steel or Monel. These instruments are supplied with suspended weights of hard, non-magnetic die-cast alloy. Metric instruments feature stainless steel weights. Instruments also come with certificates and optional calibration data sheets. A metal protective case is also included, plus a standard set of tools for setup and adjustments.
