Thermowells are recommended to be used on any application, where the temperature sensing element may be exposed to pressurized, corrosive or high velocity media. Additionally, using thermowells allows online changing of sensors or calibration check without shutting down the process..


Materials: Wells are made of Carbon Steel (C-1018), A.I.S.I. 304, A.I.S.I. 316, and Monel are available for quick delivery. Other materials are available.	Protective Coatings for Thermowells: •Tungsten Carbide Coatings for Abrasion • Resist Corrosion • For Chemical Baths • Available in PFA Teflon®, Epoxy and other materials. Consult Factory
Flange Sizes: 1" and 2" wells in all facings and pressure ratings are standard. Other sizes are available on application	Application: .260 series fits standard length 1/4" diameter elements. .385 series fits standard length 3/8" diameter elements.
There are many material options available for special applications. If you have a unique application, please call our factory and speak to one of our sales engineers. Note 1: Manufacturer reserves the right to alter the attachment location in order to accommodate the actual wall thickness. Note 2: Hex head plug is available in Brass, 304SS, and 316SS materials. Note 3: All dimensions are for reference and tolerance is nominal. Note 4: Vanstone Series 125-200 AARH. Smooth machined surface. Note 5: Drilled by TTI Non-welded: +.005"/-.000"
